Three plain horizontal bands of green, white and light blue. Gabon also uses green and blue, but places yellow in the middle instead of white.

- The green-white-blue tricolour was adopted at independence on 27 April 1961.
History of the design
Its plain horizontal arrangement was selected through the pre-independence heraldic process and has remained unchanged.
