How to identify it
Three plain horizontal bands of yellow, green and red, in that order. Myanmar uses the same band order but adds a large white star across the centre.

- The tricolour was first adopted in 1918, restored in 1988 and changed from 1:2 to 3:5 by legislation in 2004.

Lithuania also recognises a separate historical state flag showing the mounted Vytis on red.
