- Three equal horizontal bands of aquamarine, gold and aquamarine, with a black equilateral triangle set in from the hoist.
Officially documented meaning
Per the Bahamian government, black represents the vigour and force of a united people; the triangle pointing into the flag represents the people's determination to develop the resources of sun and sea, symbolised respectively by gold and aquamarine.
