How to identify it
Red, blue and orange horizontal bands of equal depth, with nothing on them. The bottom band is a warm apricot orange rather than yellow.

- The tricolour was restored on 24 August 1990. The current Flag Law was adopted in 2006.

Officially documented meaning
The 2006 law links red to the Armenian Highland and the continuing struggle for survival, blue to the will to live beneath peaceful skies, and orange to creative talent and hard work.
History of the design
The 1990 design restored the red, blue and orange tricolour used by the First Republic of Armenia from 1918.
